Impact Player for Limestone:
Junior QB Caleb Bieneman (6-foot-4, 185 pounds) is a big, strong and talented signal caller who will have two more seasons to develop into a top level signal, caller for the Rockets. Bieneman got a rough first taste of the varsity level in 2021, but hopefully that experience will benefit Bieneman and the Rockets this coming season. No question keep an eye on Caleb Bieneman this coming season for the Rockets.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Limestone Rockets:
The Rockets (1-8) struggled in 2021, posting a 1-8 record. The Rockets welcome in new head coach Jeff Schmider who will look to get the Limestone program back to playing winning football this fall. Look for the Rockets to rely on a solid core of returning starters back (5 offense 5 defense) while hoping to build up it's overall numbers and depth this summer. The biggest question for Limestone is can they get out of the gates well early in the schedule before running into the Mid Illini conference gauntlet in Week 4 thru Week 8?
