2022 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?

7 on 7's

July 11th @ Prospect HS (6pm)
July 20th @ Antioch HS (6pm)
Impact Player for Lake Zurich:
Senior WR/DB Tyler Erkman (6-foot-0, 180 pounds) is a speedy and high level two way starter and impact performer fr the Bears this coming season. Erkman, who is already verbally committed to North Dakota as a safety recruit will be asked to play in all three phases of the game again this coming season. I would also look for Erkman to get the football and multiple touches on offense this fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Lake Zurich Bears
The Bears (5-5) made the 2021 Class 7A state playoff field and lost to Batavia in opening round action. lake Zurich was able to overcome a poor start to the 2021 season by winning four of it's last five regular season games to become playoff eligible, and will look to keep up that late 2021 season momentum this summer and fall. The biggest question for the Bears is can they can fare better this season against winning programs and get back to becoming one of the top programs to challenge Warren Township at the top of the North Suburban conference this fall. Look for Lake Zurich to rely early on an experienced defense (8 returning starters)while the offense will need to reload in a few key spots (QB/OL/RB) this summer.
