EDGY's Quick Take on the Johnsburg Skyhawks:

The Skyhawks (3-6) had to take on a new conference in 2021 and faced several playoff teams last fall in the new alignment. The Skyhawks opened the season with five straight losses including losses to 4 eventual state playoff teams along with CCL/ESCC Marian Central Catholic (4-5). The Skyhawks wound up winning 3 out of it's last four games to finish the 2021 on a positive note. Look for the 2022 Skyhawks to rely on a steady core of experienced senior starters while also working in several new faces into the starting lineup this summer. The good news these days at Johnsburg is that overall numbers in the football program are on the rise and look for this proud school to continue to make positive strides this fall and beyond.
