Impact Player for Hoffman Estates:
Senior QB Aidan Cyr (6-foot-4, 190 pounds) is a multi-year starter and an impact performer for the Hawks. Cyr has impressive size and physical tools, throws a good ball and is also more than capable of rolling out and becoming a threat to run with the football once he's outside of the pocket.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Hoffman Estates Hawks:
The Hawks (8-3) and head coach Tim Heyse was able to get the Hawks back into the 2021 Class 7A IHSA state playoff field as the Hawks beat TF South then lost to eventual 7A state champion Wheaton North to end the season. Look for the Hawks to again challenge in the Mid Suburban west along with gaining another state playoff spot this coming post-season. The Hawks have made the state playoffs in three out of the last four years under Tim Heyse, a run that you would need to go back to the early 1990's to match for the school.
