Impact Player for Geneva :

Sophomore WR Tayln Taylor (6-foot-0, 165 pounds) has already added a few recent Power 5 scholarship offers, and Taylor has been a breakout player on the recruiting circuit this summer. Taylor has great speed and hands, possesses some serious wiggle and burst while also having some serious upside physically for the Power 5 level. Taylor will continue top add more good weight and muscle over the next few seasons and his progression will be fun to watch.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Geneva Vikings:

The Vikings (5-5) made the 2021 Class 7A state playoff field and beat Collinsville in first round action, then lost to St. Rita in second round action to end the season. The Vikings and head coach Boone Thorgesen will look towards reloading a bit this summer as the Vikings will need to replace 14 graduated starters (8 offense 6 defense). The schedule is again pretty stacked for the Vikings in 2022 but this program seems to be on the road back to reclaiming it's place towards the upper tier of the Dukane conference. The underclassmen group is strong and it's development at the varsity level will be a big key this summer for Geneva.
