Impact Player for Fenton
Senior QB/DB Jay Zinnen is a multi-sport athlete who is also a veteran varsity starter and impact player for the Thunder. Zinnen, who will again be asked to play full time on both sides of the football will be asked to help provide leadership on and off the field along with also adding more overall production for the Thunder in 2022.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Fenton Bison:
The Bison (0-9) failed to win a game in 2021 and was just never able to get much going on, especially on the offensive side of the football where the Bison averaged just 28 points all season. The positive this summer for Fenton is that the Bison will bring back several experienced players including 10 starters on the offensive side of the football. The biggest question for the Bison this summer is can they continue to build up the program's overall numbers and depth while also finding a way to get some key wins with a heavily front loaded regular season schedule? If Fenton can withstand the early regular season storms (South Elgin/GB South) they have a real shot at getting a handful of win in 2022.
