2022 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?
Bears 11 on Camp
CSL 7 on 7
Impact Player for Evanston:
Senior OL Gabe Rosen (6-foot-6, 340 pounds) is just a huge young man physically who has the tools and skill set to wind up playing at the FCS level in college. Rosen has made impressive strides over the last few years in his overall development in his game as well as physically in shedding weight and adding more muscle. Several additional FBS/FCS programs have Rosen on it's recruiting radar screen this summer and a good early showing this fall could see Rosen's overall recruiting stock rise.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Evanston Wildkits:
The Wildkits (6-4) made the 2021 Class 8A state playoff field and lost in opening round action to Plainfield North to finish the season. The Wildkits and veteran head coach Mike Burzawa will need to reload a bit, especially at a few key spots in the offensive skills along with the defensive line this summer. Evanston is never in short supply at the offensive skills and showed several impressive names to watch this summer in 7on7 at those spot this season. The schedule for Evanston is very solid this season including some very strong games in it's Mid Suburban crossover games with Prospect and Barrington. The biggest question facing the Wildkits this summer can they reload and remain at the top of the Central Suburban South in 2022?
