Impact Player for Edwards County:
Junior QB Max Gerlach (6-foot-0, 200 pounds). Gerlach will be asked to provide offensive production and leadership for the Lions this coming season. Gerlach was able to utilize his ability to pass and run including executing the Lions play action passing game.

The Edwards County Lions (0-9) unfortunately suffering through a winless 2021 season after posting a 2-4 record in the COVID shortened 2021 spring season. Look for the Lions to rely on a strong core of returning starters back this fall (8 offense 8 defense) to help Edwards County snap it's losing streak and get back into the Black Diamond conference title contention.
