2022 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?
Host 7on7's June 21,28, July 19
CSL 7on7 July 12
IWU Team Camp July 24-26
Impact Player for Deerfield:
Senior WR Luke Pollack (6-foot-4, 195 pounds) is a big, tall and lanky receiver who has been impressive this summer at various camps. Pollack no question has a chance to continue to boost his overall recruiting stock this summer and fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Deerfield Warriors:
The Warriors (9-2) and Hall of Fame head coach Steve Winiecki was able to win the Central Suburban North conference title in 2021 and make the Class 6A state playoff field. The Warriors beat Chicago Mather in opening round action then lost to Crystal Lake Central in second round action to end the 2021 season. Look for the Warriors to do quite a it of reloading this summer as several key starters from a season ago have graduated. While the Warriors will be young this fall, they also have a talented underclassmen group on the rise that should contribute quite a bit this season. Look for Deerfield to again challenge in the CSN and to also gain another state playoff appearance.
