Impact Player for Danville:

Senior RB/DB Tommy Harris Jr. (5-foot-10, 185 pounds) will be a multi-year starter and a key leader on and off the field for the Vikings again in 2022. Harris has been a varsity starter since his freshman year at Danville and if the Vikings are able to have a big season, look for Tommy Harris to play a huge role this fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Danville Vikings:

The Vikings (4-5) was missed the 2021 IHSA state playoff field and had it's chances to get to five wins including close losses to Centennial and Thornwood. Look for Danville to reload this fall with a good core of starters on both sides of the football, and the biggest question will be if the Vikings can add depth and improve it's overall numbers this season. Look for Danville to challenge for a state playoff spot along with becoming one of the higher tier teams in the Big 12 conference in 2022.
