Impact Player for Clifton Central:

Senior QB Luke Shoven (6-foot-1, 200 pounds). Shoven has been a varsity starter and an impact player over the past handful of seasons for Clifton Central. Look for Shoven to draw more recruiting looks and attention this coming summer and fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Clifton Central Comets:

The Comets (6-4) was able to make the 2021 Class 2A state football playoff field and lost in the opening round to Erie to end the season. With 14 returning starters back this fall (7 offense 7 defense) the Comets are in line for another big season this coming fall.
