Impact Player for Taft:
Senior OL/DL Grzegorz Krupa (6-foot-3, 260 pounds) is a multi-year two way starter for Taft and has been a varsity mainstay for his entire high school career along with being a four year varsity starter in 2022. Grzegorz, who has added several FCS/D2 scholarship offers this summer will have a chance to become an All State player this fall for the Eagles.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Taft Eagles:
The Eagles (8-3) made the 2021 IHSA Class 8A state playoff field and lost to Palatine in opening round action. Taft has been quietly one of the better overall success stories in the CPL, as Taft has made the IHSA state playoff field in four of the last five seasons. Look for the Eagles to again challenge to be one of the top overall programs in the CPL with a strong core of returning starters. The biggest question for Taft this summer is can they add more overall numbers and improve the depth of the lineup this summer.
