Senior WR/DB Adam Muench (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) is a talented all around athlete who will again play full time on both side4s of the line of scrimmage for the Vikings this season. Muench shows good hands and ball awareness along with just having a very solid overall football IQ.

The Vikings (5-5) made the 2021 Class 6A state playoff field and lost to Crystal Lake Central in opening round action. Amundsen and head coach Nick Olson will look towards a move to the new CPL Red North Central conference this season...which for the most part is the same gathering of teams from last season's Illini Windy City conference. The biggest question for the Vikings will be can they reload upfront on both the offensive and defensive lines this summer?
