Returning Offensive Starters for 2022:
Line: Dylan McGrath, 2023 center Jacob Clement , 2023 tackle, all conference in 2021, will be his 3rd year starting on the line. we expect these two to lead us up front.
Skill: Riley Gelb, 2023 & Grant Cochonour, 2024, are both returning at the receiver spot this season. We expect them to be a large part of our passing game as well as great blockers in our run game.
Cole Livingston, 2023 FB, & Connor Sullivan, 2024 TE, both returning from an all conference season last year. We expect defenses to key on these two players, and we are expecting big things from both of these two.
Returning Defensive Starters for 2022:
Gavin Shackleford , 2023 DT is back for his senior year after being named all conference last year. Jacob Clement , 2023 DT, is also a large part of our defensive scheme .
***At the linebacker spot, we return all 4 starters. Cole Livingston, 2023, Connor Sullivan, 2024, Riley Gelb 2023, and Grant Cochonour, 2024, are all returning. We expect our linebacker unit to lead our defense throughout the year.
Newcomers to Watch for 2022:
2023 QB Cole Gilbert- Cole was a receiver and corner for us last season , and we expect him to step up this year and lead our offense. Cole is a great athlete, who matches that with his work ethic off of the field.
2022 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?
Spending a lot of time together as a team and working on our speed. As a new head coach, I want to spend a lot of time with them and get to know them!

Senior LB/FB Cole Livingston (5-foot-10, 190 pounds).Livingston is one of a handful of players for the Warriors who will have the chance to play on Saturday;'s at the next level from Casey Westfield.

The Warriors (3-6) and first year head coach Nathan Lieber will inherit a winning program over the past few seasons in Casey Westfield. The Warriors made the Class 1A state playoff field in back to back seasons (2019 and 2021) and Lieber will look towards a handful of key multi-year starters this coming season. Look for Casey Westfield to again compete in the Little Illini conference race this fall.
