Impact Player for Carmel Catholic

Junior QB Johnny Weber (6-foot-3, 190 pounds) is a big, strong and impressive signal caller for the Corsairs who sure looks like a kid who is in line for a big 2022 season. Weber has the overall look, physical tools and potential to continue to draw recruiting looks and attention this summer and fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Carmel Catholic Corsairs:

The Corsairs (3-6) had an up and down season, and starting off the season with a Week 1 COVID forfeit didn't kick things off the right way. The Corsairs have some talent back along with some impressive names on the rise at the underclassmen level. The regulars season schedule for Carmel is not easy and the first two games will be a big test in Antioch and Lake Forest, yet if the Corsairs can get a good early showing and a win or two this team has the potential to challenge for a state playoff spot in 2022.
