Impact Player for Cahokia:

Senior QB/DB Omarion Gooden (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) will be a multi-year starter and impact player for the Comanches in 2022. Gooden, who was an All Conference and All Area performer in 2021 will continue to see his overall recruiting stock continue to rise this summer and fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Cahokia Comanches:

The Comanches (5-5) made the 2021 IHSA Class 4A state playoff field and lost to Rochester in opening round action to end the season. Cahokia will welcome back several key returning starters this fall including it's entire starting offensive line back from a season ago. The main question for Cahokia will be it's overall numbers and depth be there for the upcoming fall season. Look for the Comanches to again challenge for a conference title in the South Seven and a spot in the IHSA state football playoffs, and if Cahokia can stay healthy they could make a decent run in 4A.
