Impact Player for Byron:

Senior QB/DB Braden Smith (6-foot-0, 170 pounds) is a two way starter and an impact player on both sides of the line for the Tigers. Byron wiull be looking to replace some holes left from graduation in the offensive backfield and skills, and look for Braden Smith and the experienced offensive line to help ease the transition into the varsity level for the less experienced starters early this fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Byron Tigers:

The Tigers (14-0) are the defending Class 3A state champions and will look to defend it's state title this coming fall with a good group of experienced players held over from last season state title run. Byron and head coach Jeff Boyer has simply built the Tigers program into a small enrollment power and I expect the Tigers to again be in the thick of things in both the Big Northern conference and beyond in 2022.
