Impact Player for Antioch:
SeniorTE/LB Joey Neumann (6-foot-5, 220 pounds) Neumann has been a varsity starter and a two way mainstay for the Sequoits since his freshman season and will also be a rare four year varsity letterman this fall. Neumann, who is verbally committed to South Dakota State will again be asked to provide strong leadership along with being a two way mainstay this season for Antioch.

The Sequoits (5-5) made the 2021 Class 6A state playoff field and lost to Lake Forest in opening round action. Antioch and veteran head coach Brian Glashagel will look towards his strong core of returning starters back this season (13 returning starters 6 offense 7 defense) while also bringing a long a very strong core of underclassmen names who are expected to push the starters along with filling in at some key spots (OL/DB)/ Look for the Sequoits to again challenge in the Northern Lake County conference and also in Class 6A this coming season. The biggest question for Antioch is can they get back into the state playoff field and make a deeper post-season run this fall?
