Biggest Question facing Streamwood this fall?
Can the Sabres repeat it's spring success this fall? Streamwood and head coach Kevin McMaster had a strong 5-1 record during the spring season and included wins over some of the higher profile programs in the Upstate 8 (Glenbard East/Elgin). The fall schedule will still be a challenge for Streamwood but the Sabres have a nice core of starters back this fall. The Sabres I feel have a decent shot at getting to 5 wins this fall.
Impact Player for Streamwood: Senior RB Isaac Martinez had a very strong spring season for the Sabres and more is expected this season. Martinez averaged over 7 yards a carry in the spring and if he can duplicate that this fall, Streamwood will win more games this fall.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 3 versus Glenbard East- Streamwood beat the Rams in the spring season (36-13) and I promise that Glenbard East will be looking for payback this fall. This Week 3 game will also be a good early barometer on whether the Sabres can truly make a run for a state playoff spot this fall.
