Biggest Question facing Sterling this fall?

Can the Golden Warriors regain it's hold on the Western Big 6 conference this fall? Sterling and head coach Jonathan Schlemmer has the football program playing at it's usual high level, including winning the first year in the Western Big 6 in 2019 along with positing a 5-1 record this past spring. The Golden Warriors will bring back 9 returning starters this fall including 6 starters back on offense. The Western Big 6 looks to be an "up" year on paper, and while winning another conference title won't be easy, this Sterling program should never be counted out of anything.

Impact Player for Sterling

Senior DL Jason Farnham Jr. is an inside impact defensive linemen for the Golden Warriors who will again be asked to stuff things inside this fall. Also senior WR/S Carter Ryan is a two way starter and another player who will be asked to provide production and leadership this coming fall.

Game to Watch this Fall? Week 7 @ Rock Island

While no one around the Sterling program will forget it's Week 6 spring season loss to East Moline United and will be ready for some payback in Week 9, don't overlook Week 7 at Rock Island. The Rocks are looking to be a contender in the WS6 this fall and this showdown against Sterling could be for a potential conference title.
