Biggest Question facing St. Ignatius this fall?
Can the Wolfpack continue to move forward as a program and build off it's spring season improvement? Despite the St. Ignatius spring final record (2-4) this program made some big improvements in the spring. St. Ignatius lost it's four spring games to Benet Academy, ICCP, Joliet Catholic and Fenwick and had big efforts and played some very strong teams well. The Wolfpack used a nice mix of ball control offense along with a defense that also made some huge plays. If the Wolfpack and replace a handful of key positions this summer (QB/WR's) they have a chance to again make some noise this coming fall.
Impact Player for St. Ignatius:
Senior OL/DL Damian Lassek. Lassek is a key two way starter for the Wolfpack, and looks for Lassek to again be asked to be an anchor on both sides of the line. Also senior RB/LB Jack Molloy also had a strong spring season and will also be asked to spearhead a very solid run game for St. Ignatius.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 9 vs Fenwick
Fenwick beat St Ignatius 10-0 back in Week 6 of the spring season. If the regular season goes well for the Wol.fpack, the Week 9 game hosting Fenwick could no question have serious playoff implications for both the Friars and the Wolfpack.
