Biggest Question facing Rock Island this fall?

Can the Rocks win the Western Big 6 conference and make a deep run in the IHSA state playoffs this fall? Rock Island and head coach Ben Hammer is looking to build upon the Rocks 4-2 season this past spring. Rock Island always has impressive speed and athletes within the building and if they can reload at a few key spots this summer (RB/OL/DB) they will again be at the top tier of the conference race and gain an IHSA state playoff spot this fall.

Impact Player for Rock Island

Senior QB Eli Reese is a big, strong and athletic signal caller and multiple sport athlete for the Rocks this season. Reese, who is a multi-year starter for the Rocks this fall is a major key in getting an explosive Rocky offense in gear.

Game to Watch this Fall? Week 7 vs Sterling

The Rocks have yet to beat the Golden Warriors since Sterling joined the Western Big 6 back in 2019, including a 27-18 loss during the spring season. If Rock Island plans to win the WB6 this fall, beating an always strong Sterling program is big in my eyes.
