Biggest Question facing Mundelein this fall?
Can the Mustangs take a few positive steps this fall and make a run at a state playoff berth? Mundelein posted a less than great 1-5 record this past spring season but the Mustangs showed to be making progress. Mundelein I felt was able to improve and narrow the gap against some of the better programs in the North Suburban conference. If the Mustangs can take care of business in it's non conference games especially early in the season they could challenge for a 5 win regular season this fall.
Impact Player for Mundelein
Senior QB Brock Paluch is a big, strong passer who has a ton of physical tools and upside. Paluch was impressive at various camps this summer and will no question continue to draw recruiting looks this summer and fall. If the Mustangs end up having a strong season, Paluch will be a major key this fall.
Game to Watch this Fall? The Non Conference games
The Mustangs play in a very top heavy conference, and cracking the top tier has been a struggle for Mundelein for decades. Yet this team has the makings of winning some games this season and winning the non conference games (Grant/Grayslake Central) is an absolute must for the Mustangs this season.
