Biggest Question facing Mahomet Seymour this fall?

Can the Bulldogs get over the hump and beat the top tier programs in the Apollo conference this fall? Mahomet Seymour and head coach Jon Adkins posted a 3-3 record in the spring season. The three losses came at the hands of three strong programs in Effingham (21-7), Mt. Zion (44-34) and Tolono Unity (25-19) and the Bulldogws played those three teams pretty touch this past spring. With 18 starters back in the fold from the spring roster, look for Mahomet Seymout to make a move and break into the top tier of the Apollo this fall.

Impact Player for Mahomet Seymour?

Senior OL Tyler Uken (6-foot-8, 250 pounds) is a big, athletic big man who has made some impressive strides in his game over the past few seasons. Uken has been drawing various FCS/D2 recruiting attention, and I wouldn't be shocked to see some higher level programs take a late shot and try to develop Tyler Uken at the college level. Uken I feel has potential lower FBS/high FCS potential.

Game to Watch this Fall? Week 2 at Effingham

Again the main task for the Bulldogs will be getting over the hump against the power programs in the Apollo, and the first major test comes Week 2 at Effingham. A win on the road over the Flaming Hearts no question would be a great early win and send a message to the rest of the Apollo conference that Mahomet Seymour is ready to make a run at a conference title this fall.
