Biggest Question facing Lincoln Way West this fall?
Can the Warriors continue to stay at the top of the SW Suburban Red conference this fall? The Warriors are coming off a 5-1 spring season with the Warriors only loss coming to rival Lincoln Way East. Lincoln Way West welcomes back some experience names on both sides of the football this fall, yet the overall schedule is also ramped up this fall compared to the past few years. Despite some strong non conference and crossover opponents, I still look for West to challenge at the top of the SWS Red.
Impact Player for Lincoln Way West
Senior WR/S Eric Nowak. Nowak is a terrific all around athlete who has been drawing various FCS and MAC level recruiting attention and offers this summer. Nowak is also no question a go-to game breaker type in all three phases this coming season. If the Warriors need a big play in a key situation, look for Nowak to get the football.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 3 @ Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook is always a tough opponent to take on since the Raiders always have speed and high level talent on the roster. The Warriors will also get tested in Week 1 (Hersey) and Week 2 (Oswego East) but a Week 3 ewin over Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook would be a huge indicator game this fall for the Warriors.
