Biggest Question facing Joliet Catholic this fall?

Can the Hilltoppers live up to the high expectations this season? The Hilltoppers and head coach Jake Jaworski posted a perfect 6-0 spring season record and the Hillmen return several key starters back this fall. The internal hype and excitement for this season's Hilltoppers is high, and many in and around the football program feel this could be a state title contending team this fall. The JCA offense welcomes back nearly all of the offensive skills plus 3 starting linemen back, while the defense also has some key names back in the fold. The biggest question for JCA this summer is can they develop enough depth to withstand a very ramped up regular season schedule this season?

Impact Player for Joliet Catholic

Senior RB Jordan Anderson (Illinois). Anderson is truly a big back (6-foot0-3, 230 pounds) who will remind many of former JCA great Ty Isaac, a back who is capable of running past and over all oncoming defenders. Anderson looks terrific this summer and is in line for a huge fall season. While the Hilltopper offense is as balanced as I can ever with the run and the pass...the calling card remains the power run game for JCA and Anderson will get plenty of touches this season.

Game to Watch this Fall? Week 7 at Brother Rice

The regular season schedule is much improve this fall., and while JCA has some strong early tests in the likes of Simeon, Cardinal Ritter and local rival Providence Catholic and Crete-Monee, yet in my mind the Week 7 crossover game at Brother Rice is a huge potential test. The Crusaders will be strong this season and this will be a big road test for JCA in a hostile territory against a high level CCL Blue opponent.
