2020 Planned Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?

On Hold (IHSA suspension of summer contact days)

NA

Impact Player for Rock Island: Senior WR/S Perry Slater. The Rocks are truly stacked with talent and experience this season, yet Slater is a player who never leaves the field for Rock Island. Slater has been drawing various FCS offers and recruiting attention this summer and I expect him to draw even more recruiting attention this coming fall. Again I could have named 4-5 different kids here who can end up playing a big role this fall for Rock Island.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Rock Island Rocks: The Rocks (8-3) had a strong 2019 season having made the Class 6A IHSA state playoff field, beat Dunlap then lost to eventual 6A state champion East St. Louis Flyers. Look for Rocky to truly reload this summer especially on offense with 11 starters back who all saw significant playing time in 2019. The biggest question for the Rocks this summer? Can the Rocky defense take things up a dew more notches this season and make big stops against high level caliber opponents?
