Impact Player for Antioch: QB Athan Kaliakmanis (Minnesota commit). Yes, it's pretty much a no brainer to select either Athan and/or his brother Dino Kaliakmanis (Minnesota commit) here and have no argument. Yet the injury loss last season to Athan was a huge blow for the Sequoits and no question limited the Sequoits offense in 2019. With a healthy Athan Kaliakmanis back in 2020 the Sequoits are a major challenger for the conference as well as a potential Top 25 ranked team in 2020.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Antioch Sequoits: Antioch has had some talented teams under veteran head coach Brian Glashagel, yet the 2020 Sequoits have a real chance at making some big noise and a potential run in the IHSA state playoffs. If Antioch can reload a bit upfront on the offensive and defensive lines they will be a big time threat inside and outside of the far Northern burbs in 2020.
