    MC was close to playing Pitt Central Catholic week 1 out there. Just never happened. I think they ended up scheduling a top OH team. I don't know anything on the week 1 opponent. I like the Week 0 game though for more prep time for SR week 2.

    Really the Quarters through the 6A title that year all are on the same par: winning vs Chicagoland #1 HF, winning at Rita for first time since 1967 in semi both teams 12-0 and beating #1 in state East St Louis.

    MC is a tough one with the history it has. In the Lynch Regime , for me it is the week 3 win at LA in 2018. LA had won the last 8 of 10.

    He definitely had 2 Heisman moments vs Batavia on a nationally televised game. The Willie Mays style catch was the best play I have ever seen from an MC player. (first game in '88) He may not have been at the forefront of some people's minds with not playing at all in the playoffs last year...

    From the same year, I think like many would list, 1998 MC v WWS. That being said more than happy MC got to play and beat PC twice when they came into the game 62-1 from 94-98.

    If JC can get by Peoria, would love to check out Morris v JC mainly if it's at Morris. That has been my favorite venue to see a game.
