Assuming State is Nov 29th and 30th, that puts week one on August 30th of Labor Day weekend and week 2 on September 6th
I have heard a week 2 game between St. Rita and Mt. Carmel for the next 2 years is in the works. At St. Rita in 2024, at Mt. Carmel in 2025. Trying to get confirmation.
As it always should be. Make it a 10 year agreement. I know MC was locked into a home/away with Morgan Park in week 2 but after the chaos last year it was deemed best to cancel that, even with it being at Gately and not MC. MC has been looking for a week 2 but its hard every year to find a team that wants to play MC. I'm not sure why Kenwood backed out with SR. Goffer is a MC alum and former MC coach I can't see him backing out unless he really feels that this year's team might struggle to get 5 wins so playing SR isn't the best idea , but even so I'm surprised he would do that.
