I just finished watching the replay of last night's boys basketball game between Maine South @ Evanston in a tight CSL race. The game went back and forth and Maine South pulled a few points ahead as time was running down.. With 2.7 seconds left and MS leading 44-42, the Hawks were fouled by the Wildkits, and were sent to the free throw line...the MS player misses the shot, and a Freshman guard named Russell Peters gets the ball, takes two steps forward, and throws the ball one handed 70 feet through the air....and hits the three point shot as time expires! Final Evanston 45 Maine South 44. That old gym went crazy!
