It sure is the norm in basketball. In reading the Sun-Times preview, I lost track of the number transfers mentioned in each team's writeup. It seems like it's as prevalent now as it's ever been. Just about every one of the top teams had multiple transfers.

Just look at high school basketball here in IL. The transfers are extremely high profile and numerous. If you listened to Mike O'Brien and Joe Henrickson on their No Shot Clock pod they had to mention near 50 transfers for just the teams in their preseason top 25.

I can absolutely see football following this pattern.

SFHS loses a really good SR class. They have some good returners and underclassmen but they had some dudes in this SR class.

Speaking of basketball: what is the edgytim equivalent for IL HS basketball? When I was in in school, there was a board called "chicagohoops.com" (I think that was the name). Looking for something similar to this board for hoops. Thanks
