Even when Naz is going good as long as LT has the right man at the helm it shouldn’t affect LT too much. There’s so much talent in those halls. Naz might put a small dent into the LT’s, HC’s and to a lesser extent RB’s of the world but those schools are such good schools (and free) that even an elite Naz isn’t going to cripple them. Naz at its best has to pull kids from many different districts. It’s just not sustainable to survive off LT and HC district kids. I’m glad to see LT have some success this year, I think they’ll have more next year but I don’t know if this is a new LT or just one of their standard 2 year upticks they have experienced every so often in their history.

Amen the problems that we so passionately argue about on here are so meaningless in the big picture and like you I hope that they’re the most serious problems that anyone on this board ever has to deal with.
I’m very excited for the LWE-Loyola game. I’ve really only caught some of the Bolingbrook game and some of the BB game. I feel like I didn’t see their best so I’m pumped for Saturday. I know LWE has a million kids in their program and they’re never short of talent but regardless of how much talent they have being as good as they’ve been for as long as they have against the competition they face is damn impressive.
People say “they’re a machine” like it’s easy. That ish is hard. Getting to the top of the mountain is tough but staying there is damn near impossible. What they’re doing there is amazing.
That just made me think… Naz is NOT LWE by any means but they’ve played in the state championship 6 of the last 8 seasons, with 3 wins and hopefully one more loading.
Hard to not be impressed with NAZ. Happy for their fans. Appreciate the kind words for LWE, spoken like someone who truly understands HS football.
