    Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater is the only one to me who comes close to Neil Peart

    The only one who I would argue is better is Buddy Rich. Youtube him and your mind will be blown. No else even comes close to these two.

    If we’re gonna name names you have to include John Bonham and Stewart Copeland. So many damn good drummers and styles that picking the best is like ranking our high school football teams.

    Regardless, both were the two best drummers this world has seen. There are many other excellent ones as well but no one matches these two.

    You sure can. It's just solo'ing regardless of style. The precision and speed are where it's at.
