Too early to really dig into this but MC is shaping up to look really strong again. They got a couple of difference making transfer additions to their offensive and defensive lines that will help with the graduating loses. Dupree and Manning are the best RB combo in the State (that I know of). Parker Startz is getting more and more D1 offers....I don't know what many teams have coming back this early in the year but I'd put MC up against any of them right now.
You need to change your handle to something ESL because you don’t seem to support your Alma mater at all! 😀. Kidding aside I’m not sure who they are, I’m sure they are excellent and lightening quick like all the other ESL backs MC has seen over the years but you really can’t argue to hard that Dupree mad Manning won’t be the one of the best, if not thee best, RB combos in the state. Dupree just added offers from ND and Michigan and Manning is getting a lot of looks from IVY and high educational schools. 18 TDs in 9 games for Dupree when part of a two back system is amazing in the CCL Blue. Manning did a great job of stepping in and switching his role to the every down back for the playoff run when Dupree went down. When they are both healthy and in the game together they are a fun duo.
Martin & Woods are the real deal. Def. one of the top combos in state regardless of class.
No doubting they are. They are never short on talent in ESL. I’ll take Dupree and Manning though.
Glad its on a Saturday so we can see our week 4 matchup and potential playoff opponent if we’re in 6A
Def should be a great game. Esl lost alot on the O line but it sounds like they have some young guys and transfers who will be good replacements
