A live volleyball match between these two National Champs rivals anything I’ve ever been too as far as electricity. And lads I’ve been to everything except the British Open.

. I wish that Carmel Catholic and Viator were more competitive than they have been in recent years because then I could definitely see a geographic division of LA, NDCP, Carmel Catholic and Viator making sense.

I've lived a few miles from Carmel (Mundelein) for 25 years. Early on, I saw countless kids with Carmel tee shirts or jackets in the neighborhood. Bumper stickers lauding Carmel football were common. However, for the past ten years or so, that's all changed. I see little evidence that the school so close geographically actually exists. I usher at church with a man whose son plays football for Lake Forest. He had considered going to Carmel, but was turned off by their football program. I hope they make a comeback. Years ago, I'd go to their games when my Carmel wasn't playing.
