Not quite. shifiting demos caused Mendel and Weber to shut down; they caused Leo and Gordon Tech to change their entire scope. Plus, countless grammar schools are gone forever, and none are being opened in the suburbs.

A 1/2 dozen of schools....that's cute. CPS has closed or "shook up" about 200 schools over the last 10 years.

I’m all for the need based grants to give recruited kids an opportunity for a better education and better chance for their future.
