Marist 42 v Glenbrook 14 3Q

John McAuliffe (19 carries, 171 yards) scored three TDs for Marist, including a 65-yarder. Jake Ritter (8-of-9 passing, 115 yards) threw two TD passes. Ritter also scored a rushing TD. Marist picked off two passes and also recovered a fumble. GBS held without a point in the second half.

That loss to JCA is now going to cost Marist. Without it, they would not be playing Loyola in the second round.
 
Without that loss they might have been the number one seed. Marist second half adjustments were clinical and probably my biggest complaint in years past. Marist 2-0 versus the Blue this year. Big test. Excited already.

And not too long ago Marist did defeat LA twice in one season. Not many teams have beaten LA twice in 5 years, let alone twice in a season. Good luck to the Redhawks.

I wouldn't be too concerned. This will be one of the most tempting offers on next weekend's menu.

I was at both of those games. Secret weapon in game two was a freshman WR Carnell Tate. Sort of a big deal now LOL. Marist D front has always held its own against the well trained Loyola O Line. For fans of line play it’s fun to watch. I’m not sure Marist has the horses but I can’t wait to find out. Sounds like the game will be Saturday. I was hoping for one more Friday night lights. N
