Loyola makes it official

Best of luck to Beau. He has some pretty big shoes to fill!

He learned how to play from Hoerster, and he learned how to coach observing Holecek. Best of both worlds!

Happy that an alum is getting a shot. I'm pretty sure that it's the first time an alumnus has run the program, although my knowledge of LA head football coaches doesn't extend much further back than Bob Naughton and the great Loyola teams he had before moving on to build a program at New Trier West in the late 60s.

Beau Desherow, class of '93, played for the '92 team that made it to the semifinals. He'll be another Jordan Lynch.
