Congratulations to Lena-Winslow

It starts with a Coach and staff and the culture the success creates. Not just team-wise but also the individuals that go on to have successful college and beyond careers. This creates enthusiasm within the parents of the community who then feed that enthusiasm into a solid youth program I imagine. So that increases youth involvement and then HS starts and you have the ingredients for great offseasons and practices. Sorry for the sentence structure but you get the jist.

What's the region's selling point? Military? Manufacturing? State employees?

Breweries and State Parks. Great place to kick back and sip a couple cold ones while enjoying nature

I didn’t see the game, but I was wondering how many kids do they roster?

Success factor
Nope. Why punish next seasons team for the success of the past few years? LW graduated a ton of kids last year and graduate at one this year as well. It’s not their fault their kids rise to the challenge year after year.

It’s just an all around stupid concept for both public and private schools.

I disagree, but that’s alright, neither of us gets a vote.
I think it’s fine as long as it’s applied across all teams.
This won’t really impact the schools that have one great class of kids, just the programs that are powerhouse programs year after year.
