Nice article on Mike Kafka. He is the OC now for the New York Giants. Prior to that he was he was the position coach for second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes. 4th round pick out of Northwestern, Mike prepped at St. Rita.

He's no secret in the coaching ranks. The Bears are constantly talking about developing a QB, but they couldn't find room on any of their staff's for him. Absolutely mind blowing !

Well the Bears just had one from his coaching tree and it didn’t go so well. Bears were probably a little gun shy on him after Nagy’s tenure.

Bears staff is in good shape. Let’s see what happens

I am struck by the appearance of any dimension of the Bears and the phrase "good shape" in the same sentence, especially upon watching the performances of winning teams in the playoffs year-after-year.
