Though he wouldn't want the attention, all SR alumni such as myself should be thankful for this guy. In a perfect world, inner city schools like SR would still be filled with mostly working class kids who can afford the modest tuition. But in these drastically changing times, it is obviously exceedingly difficult for catholic schools to survive. The main reason they do is because of guys like Ernie Mrozek. He adapts to the changing circumstances without losing touch with the fundamental purpose of catholic schools such as St. Rita.
Since this is a football board, he was part of Rita's 1970 team, which helped set the stage for their awesome team in 1971
