You and the other guy who was pining for more playing time for the backups backup in the state championship game probably should focus on r3c league sports. You don't seem to have the stomach for competitive hs sports.

Lwe, mc and loyola all had multiple games where they won by 42+ pts. Are you questioning whether they are decent human beings?

Whats always funny to me is theres one faction of the board that thinks esl only beat eville by 3 scores so they must not be one of the best teams in the state. Then when they win 40 ppl like you make these ridiculous comments

The BIG difference is they are not on-line posting if it wasn't for a running clock we could have had more.

Wining a state Title should answer that question.

Like i said you are talking to the wrong crowd. Its not even 24hrs since esl won a championship. And theres already people talking about esl isnt elite because of margin of victory over an opponent and how they wouldnt have even made it out of the quarters in the larger classes. I can promise you that for the die hard esl fans, winning a title is enough and we dont feel the need to prove anything else to anyone. Its the esl haters who dont feel like yesterdays performance is enough to legitimize esl seasons.

It’s hard to believe that someone would be so fragile to derail a thread discussing two particular teams by inserting an unrelated mystical victor over said teams. That’s absurd!! And yes, straw man arguments like yours keeps motivating ESL to show and prove. No one from ESL enters any thread regarding MC, LWE, MS, Batavia, LA, BR (shall I keep going???) boasting that any of those teams are not as good as us. Any reasonable person knows that games are determined on the field.

Most of the teams mentioned don’t have money which makes it almost impossible. St Joes Philly was going to be in the classic but backed out 2019. Bishop Gorman weeks haven’t lined up for the last three years. Both teams are interested.
I would much rather see games against LWE, Naz, LA, MC, and others during the reguler season. All have been made aware of ESL desire to play. Maybe one day.

East st.Louis is the best school in the state and also play the hardest schedule in the state I don’t why we act as if loyal, mc or Lincoln way would hang with st Francis and it could with a no conference game which estl would be open to

With the exception of Miami Central all of those programs have very good booster organizations with plenty of $$$$. St Joes had no issue coming to Chicago to play MC and Naz in 2014(?).
