Draft: Favorite Sports Movie of All Time?

Football: Necessary Roughness
Baseball: Bull Durham
Basketball: Blue Chips
Hockey: Youngblood
Other: Breaking Away

All.... Several of mine have already been mentioned. One that I will put up is The Rookie starring Dennis Quaid. A rags to riches story so to speak. Ratsy

A lot of good ones are taken so I will go with We Are Marshall.

Football - The original Brian’s Song.
Baseball - Fields of Dreams - Pride of the Yankees - Bang the Drum Slowly
Basketball - Hoosiers
Hockey - Miracle
Running/Olympics - Chariots of Fire - Unbroken - Prefontaine - McFarland, USA
Golf - The Greatest Game Ever Played - Happy Gilmore
Horse Racing - Seabiscuit - Secretariat
Mountaineering - Everest
Boxing - Ragging Bull - 1st three Rocky(s) - Cinderella Man
Rugby - Invictus

Breaking Away was a great movie. Forgot about that one. Been awhile since I've seen it.

Fever Pitch (the '97 version, not the Red Sox one).
A Shot At Glory
Endurance
Stroke of Genius

I laughed so hard at "Major League" that I missed much of the material. I waited around and watched it a second time to see what I had missed. This movie is almost as funny as "Blazing Saddles" and "The Producers" (original version). I don't know how many of you might be familiar with the Marx Brothers, but "Horse Feathers" is an hysterical look at college football.
.

Somebody please correct me if I am wrong. I think Edgy said to put your favorite sports movie of all time and you couldn't repeat one which was already written. I find it hard to believe some of these movies are favorites of all time from the ones who wrote them.

My favorite is already on the list. So, I am not going to add another because...well...it wouldn't be my favorite of all time, would it?

Seems to me you're the one screaming. Just following the rules set out. You're the one who needs to lighten up. Take deep breaths...deeeep breaths. Very good.

Does Point Break count?. Johhny Utah played for Ohio State in the Rose Bowl

And SURFING!! I've been pounded by many a wave and it hurts more than any football hit I ever took/dished out

Please tell me you are talking about the original though (Patrick Swayze! - of Red Dawn and Roadhouse fame)

These should certainly be some of the favorites in the black and white division.
