Trying to think whether I ever saw a game at any level like SHG/Rochester. It was like watching three consecutive different games. The first 16 minutes or so were totally dominated by one team. The next quarter and a half a back and forth slugfest, and the final 15 minutes totally dominated by the other team.
Last year's semi between the same two teams was somewhat similar but not as extreme somehow.
Very entertaining game for those without a dog in the fight. I'm sure it was nerve wracking for the partisans. Really impressed with SHG's talent. Speed and athleticism all over the field. Fun team to watch.

Story’s/ledgends/myths are made of on this over statement of “nothing at any level”. This was a great entertaining game for sure but unlike anything at any level NO! There have been so many games we could talk about but let’s leave it to something meaningful. JCA/Montini 2011 championship game final score 45-70. There were over 1600 yards of offense in the game with Ty Issac rushing for 515 yards and Jordan Westerkamp for 353 yards receiving. Great game by both teams last night, in the moment a wow, but unlike any thing at any level…”not so fast my friend”!
And a W-L record which will not be surpassed for years- and then most likely by his son.
An 80% plus lifetime win record isn't anything to sneeze at.

😀 In fairness, I DID qualify by saying the best that " I " ever saw at any level.
Da "WHO?" Back in the 80s I wad top busy obsessing over how bad the Packers were doing
II was where Althoff led 47-28 in the 3rd before Rochester came back and won 48-47.
Jaylon Bester, Nic Baker, and the Cox brothers all had amazing performances.

JCA and Montini was an amazing game. I’d also rank the Cary Grove-East St Louis game last year as one of the greatest.

The best non Naz game I have ever seen. Kids hanging from trees just for a chance to see the bulldogs choke.....THE BEST!
I wasn’t proud when Saint Derek got hit in the head with the water bottle, but i wasn’t mad about it either.
