MLB draft tonight, wonder where some local guys might go. Also, ISU plays Louisville at 1 winner to the Supers. If ISU can win they have a manageable matchup v Campbell or E Car in the Supers for chance to go to Omaha.

Hope Bobby Witt Jr. drops to #3. Otherwise, that 1b should be a good pickup. Is there another stud, "can't miss" pitcher available?

We were talking at the JC/StL game about McCormick's draft prospects. One would think he will be drafted. A left-handed hitting (with power) catcher with his defensive skills and arm seems pretty attractive. He seems to run pretty well too. Not sure how many more boxes he would need to check.

Not sure if he is slated for C or 3B at West Virginia. I think it is more a signability thing. Obviously skill-wise he should be selected. Sometimes that happens. For example obviously Fellows was draft worthy 3 years ago out of JC but with the Vandy commitment out there nobody took him. No doubt in 3 years he gets drafted though.

Drafted by the Reds in the 40th
