Big Ten released its 10 game schedule with Flexible scheduling. 10 conference only games 2 bye weeks for everyone but essentially bye weeks at the end too basically giving themselves 6 open dates total to move things around. The schedule makers did a great job giving everyone 5 home and road games as well. If they pull it off do you think in anyway it increases the chances of IHSA football in the spring? Is the format they released a rough blueprint for how conferences or regions schedule out the season?

The BIG 10 should have made a deal with Notre Dame as the ACC beat them to the marketing punch!
For years long before ND's partnership with the ACC the Big Ten tried to get ND. ND chose the Big East first then ACC because it broadened their footprint nationally. Big Ten wanted ND partnership in all sports, ND wanted all sports but football both couldn't agreen on that. Its long been documented basically from the time Big Ten had 11 members until Nebraska joined as the 12th there was constant talks between the two. It was never a matter of another conference had the idea first.

Wrestling probably needs to happen for football to happen in spring. College sports will not impact anything with HS football.

There is no way wrestling is going to happen in November. It should have been moved to the May start for any chance of it happening.

Should be interesting watching Michigan play Ohio State in an empty horseshoe...Nittany Lions in an empty stadium...Illinois has a shot at leading the conference in attendance...
