Who pays for all of that?First you have to pick your helmet color white or blue? Then you accessorize the uniform combo.
Not property taxes.Who pays for all of that?
I wish I had the money to say I did. The player's family pays a fee like every kid in a private school. I know of one alumni who helped play for the second set of helmets. Your talking about hall of fame kind of guys. If all the teams in the school use the same uniform company they get a good deal. With that many uniform options I hope their getting a great deal. My sophomore year on the varsity my mom did a lot of sewing. Different era.Who pays for all of that?
I'm a traditional guy. Home I liked their White Helmet w/ red SR, Red jersey and white pants....Away I like the white out combo. For years I didn't even know Blue was part of Rita's colors, I thought it was red and white. The rest is too much, they're like Oregon. Stick with what worked! I miss MC's yellow pants....but I guess someone thought we were brown and white so that's what it should be.I wish I had the money to say I did. Late 60's we had navy blue pants with two white strips down the outside of each leg. Home jerseys were white with blue numbers road jerseys were blue with white numbers. White helmets with two blue stripes. Simple and basic.I'm a traditional guy. Home I liked their White Helmet w/ red SR, Red jersey and white pants....Away I like the white out combo. LOve love love that blue helmet!!!!First you have to pick your helmet color white or blue? Then you accessorize the uniform combo.
How many times are these guys going to change helmet colors? Geez!
I agree Corey. The only way to have a helmet or any uniform become a classic is to wear it a number of years. Guess some of these people have a short attention span.Yeah
Not sure why the need to keep changing. I like LWE
Pretty traditional but that’s the way I like it. Same with the MC helmets. Plain but I like them and I am not even an MC fan. Lol
Can you imagine if Penn State came out with a big Lion on their helmet, or Michigan a Wolverine? Don’t mess with classics I agree!I agree Corey. The only way to have a helmet or any uniform become a classic is to wear it a number of years. Guess some of these people have a short attention span.
Disagree on both. In my opinion, both the Pats and the Bucs old uniforms and helmets were betterThe only two NFL uniforms that improved by changing their uniforms were the Pats and Bucs. That cartoon looking Patriot had to go and that porn star looking pirate on those orange and white Bucs uniforms were horrible. Glad the Rams went back to their traditional home uniforms. Jags helmet is now the worst
You like the flying Elvis head look the Pats have now?!The only two NFL uniforms that improved by changing their uniforms were the Pats and Bucs. YES, but I thought that was the Super Bowl Logo, not the Patriots. You like the flying Elvis head look the Pats have now?!
The "At-a-Boy" stickers for doing something good? I have never understood those. Why would you put targets on your players making it obvious which were high level targets?Does this debate include helmets with stickers?
We had one gold helmet. Decoration was two white stripes with a blue one in the middle - stripes made of colored electrical tape, hand applied by coaches and staff.
This is true. The rest of the uniform is needed to determine the look of the helmet.

Michigan tooOSU does this with a Buckeye. Apparently some coaches like this reward.
If the other team uses those to identify who the good players are, they already lost the game. The "At-a-Boy" stickers for doing something good? I have never understood those. Why would you put targets on your players making it obvious which were high level targets?
Not too well - but it may have been the electrical tape - that was a beta product then, as electricity was just being discovered.Did the tape stick well to leather?
