Any idea on what class ESL will be 5A or 6A

I believe all the educated guessing on here has ESL right on the bubble between 5A & 6A, so nobody will know until we see all the other teams who make the playoffs.

Assuming ESL makes the playoffs, a fairly safe bet.

It's 99 days till opening night. While a lot of sports are in their playoffs now it's time to start talking football!

It's probably a good thing for ESL, that they backed out on playing us next season! They felt it was beneath them, to trek to the South to play what they thought would be cannon fodder, due to losing our coach in April! Fast forwarded to the May 8th Spring scrimmage with Mississippi power Meridian, at Troy University. And in three quarters we won 56-0! More recently, we've trekked to the Kirby Smart Seven on Seven tourney in Athens! As well as the Florida State Seven on Seven in Tallahassee! And won them BOTH! Two of our D Linemen were also awarded the top DL award at their positions! MAAAAYBE NEXT season, when we'll need to fill out seven non conference games on our schedule, ESL will come a callin again!

As an aside, here was the Christmas present from the Colquitt Co. Packer fans to their team, in 2017!

What are the projections for Justin Lynch? What does he have going for him besides genetics and football savvy?

Truthfully, it may be a year of growing pains for the new QB.

Yeah, EGB, no offense to the kid, but if he doesn't play well, people will wonder if he earned the job or had it handed to him. But let's not forget that he has been groomed for the position since grade school in Mt. Greenwood, and that he may play better than well, silencing all the doubters. I, for one, hope that he does.
