Impact Player for Richmond Burton: Senior OL/DL Luke Eckardt. Eckardt, who is verbally committed to NIU is an elite level linemen who will again be a key and an impact player for the Rockets this season.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Richmond Burton Rockets: The Rockets, the defending Class 4A state champs are sure looking pretty strong in paper for the 2020 season. With 14 returning starters back from a 14-0 team last season, look for another very deep state playoff run in 2020. A key for RB? Who picks up the graduated production loss of RB/LB Dalton Wood?

For the Conference Championship and Quarter Finals they destroyed Marengo High School scoring seventy seven unanswered points in the combined first half's of both games then scored on their first possession of each third quarter.

Marengo had three Division One talent players including the State Track Champion in four sprinting events who rushed for over 1750 yards during the regular season and a talented Junior class.

They were simply out coached by Coach Noll and his Staff. The Marengo DC was clueless!
